The Underneath
The Underneath takes place in a bleak and exposing world where individual scenes reveal facets of humanity and our will to survive.
The work is made up of a series of scenes, each of which depicts a different reality and a different story, but all linked by themes of the brutality and unforgiving nature of the world.
There are moments of power imbalance, moments of restriction and moments of transformation and tenderness.
The Underneath was developed in collaboration with the students at Adelaide College of the Arts in 2018.
