Tobiah has performed extensively in Australia and internationally. His performance experience ranges from contemporary dance through to theatre and circus.

He has performed at notable festivals such as Adelaide Festival of the Arts, Dance Massive, Dublin Dance Festival and at the Barbican Centre in London.

Along with his performance work, Tobiah has been involved in many independent research and development projects and small scale showings.

More Guilty Than The Poet

Produced by the SA Circus Centre and Directed by Josh Hoare, More Guilty Than The Poet is a work that fuses contemporary dance, opera and circus into a visceral exploration of mortality and the afterlife.

Vincent

Vincent, choreographed by Melissa Lanham, is a work that chronicles the life of Vincent Van Gogh and his eventual descent into madness and paranoia.

Skeleton

Skeleton, choreographed by Larissa McGowan, is a fast-paced and physical work that explores our relationship to pop culture and the tropes that influence and inform us.

Voltage

Voltage is a double-bill season produced by Tasdance, with works by Larissa McGowan and Anna Smith. The season explored our relationship to the mechanical and worldly forces.

Memorial

Produced by Brink Productions and Directed by Chris Drummond, Memorial is a work based on Alice Oswald’s poem interpreting Homer’s Iliad. It follows the life and death of each of the warriors who fought in the epic and the families that they left behind.

Mass

Performed in the Adelaide Festival, alongside Opera Australia, Leonard Bernstein’s Mass is an epic combination of different performance disciplines and genres that come together in an unforgettable performance.
