ALT

ALT is a mini-festival of contemporary performance, envisioned as an alternative to main-stream arts festivals, or other alternative performance platforms that have become main-stream over time.

It has had one iteration in 2015 in a warehouse space in Adelaide. The format borrows heavily from music festivals, with a main stage and then other performance areas, each with a set schedule of shows.

The audience is able to roam freely around the space, watching what they want when they want and thereby curating their own experience of the event.

Artistically it accommodates any type of performance (apart from music acts), including durational, interactive and one-on-one performances.
